Carry the flight home.

Perched on sandstone cliffs north of San Diego, Torrey Pines is where ridge lift meets ocean breeze and style points matter as much as airtime. The launch sits just above the golf course and gliderport, offering buttery smooth soaring for hangies, paragliders, and tandem tourists alike. Afternoon sea breeze is the ticket here — too light and you’re jogging, too strong and you’re watching. Crowds, cameras, and coastal views come standard. It’s not big-air flying, but few places make smooth look this good.
