Collection: Pine Mountain, Oregon

Pine Mountain, Oregon is a desert classic in the Western U.S., known for wide-open XC potential and clean evening glass-offs. Pilots head up to the North Launch for long summer downwinders, while the South Launch gives smoother evening soaring with big views over the high desert. On light days you’ll often see locals ridge-soaring along the spine, waiting for thermals to kick. The hike to launch is short, but conditions change fast — density altitude and turbulence on windy afternoons are the norm. For PNW pilots, Pine is a rite of passage.
