Carry the flight home.

Bassano del Grappa sits at the gateway between the Alps and the Veneto plains and is one of the most storied paragliding valleys in Europe.

Flying here revolves around timing and patience. Morning hours are often spent kiting and watching cycles at launches like Panettone, with the valley slowly waking up. When conditions line up, thermals build cleanly off the slopes, gliders spread across the bowl, and the day opens into classic valley soaring with serious cross-country potential. Sea-breeze influence from the plains can shape the afternoon, rewarding pilots who wait and punishing those who rush. It’s a place people return to — not just for the flying, but for the rhythm, the discipline, and the shared understanding of what a “good Bassano day” really means.
